What is post-truth ?


Introduction:-

• Post-truth politics is a political culture in which debate is framed largely by appeals to emotion disconnected from the details of policy, and by the repeated assertion of talking points to which factual rebuttreb are ignored. post-truth differs from traditional contesting and falsifying of fact by relegating facts and expert opinions to be of secondary importance relative to appeal to emotion while this has been described as a contemporary problem, some observers have described it as a long standing part of political life that was less notable before the advent of the lettermet and related social changes.

• India has been a post-truth society:-

Meaning:-

Post-truth:- What is truth what is wrong that is confusion.

Example:-

• Before some days people think about to ban water with plastic packing . They think that it is harmfull for people and animal also. But ban on plastic packed water is advantgeausad  or to get money by banning it? - this thought is the example of post truth.

• Definitio:-

"The definition of metaphysics is a field of philosophy that is generally focused on 

How reality and the universe began."

• Example:-

"Example of metaphysics is a study of God versus the big bang theory".

• Metaphysical poet:-

1. Jone donne
2. George Herbert 
3. Andrew Marvell
4.  Henry Vaughan
5. Richard Crashaw
6. Katherine
7. Richard leigh

• Characteristics:-

1. Analyze the subject matter from metaphysical poet would not simply declares a feeling of love, he would analyze it and try to understand it's higher purpose and meaning.Heavy
2.  use of literary devices like paradox pun, and irony to convey the subject matter..
3. Random or irregular style.

Jonh donne 

• Introduction:-

• The metaphysical poetry occupies a unique place  in the history of English poetry. It is known as the school of jonh Donne because he was the pioneer, who establish this new trend of writing poetry. It was not jonh Donne who named it as the metaphysical poetry. " The metaphysical poetry".to signify the poetry of Donne and his   followers. samuel johnson used this term, It was in a nagative sense but will the passing of time the some term became a term of appraisal for the poetry of Donne and his followers."A group of poets appeared at The end of 17 the century".The poets of which mede a conscious attempts to differ in their way of writing poetry.

Jone donne's metaphysical poem

• The flea

• Death be not pround
• Elegy xix: to his mistress gonig to bed

Example:-

        Holy sonnets:X. Death,Be not proud

• Death be not proud is a x holy sonnet by jonh donne . He tries to nullfynu the fear of death in the present . Sonnet the poem is addressed by the poet to death it side. The poet tells death not to be proud because death has nothing with it. To be proud offcurse some people described it as very powerful and dangerous . But in reality death is neither powerful nor dangerous. The poet mentions that death has no capacity to kill him. If the poet has to draw a picture of death, he will draw the picture of a person enjoying rest and sleep. And so we have to derive pleasure put of it and not pain.

       

•  The poet Manton that even the best of people have gone with death. The soonness. So there is no reason for anybody. To be afraid of the poet conciders death a slave of, Fat, Charmes, king and people in disstres, when fate or change decides to kill someone, Death has to die. When king declares death decides to kill himself, death has to come. Thise is how death is a slave of for element.

         

•   According to the poet there are there feelings place of death they are poison. War and sickness. Death is bound to be there where these three element are present. The poet is of the opinion that mother's charm cause sleep to us enough better way. Than the way death causes sleep simply with one stroke, so there is no need for death to be proud. If death is accepted in this manner, then death would be no more. Death itself would die.
