Vinod joshi's poem:- ' Sairandhri' review

Vinod joshi's:-

Vinod Joshi's is a postmodern Gujarati poet, writer and critic from Gujarat,India. his notable works include parantu, a collection of Geets ( lyric poetry) , Shikhandi, a long narrative poem based on Shikhandi, a character from Mahabharata.

About his poem:-

'Sairandhri':-

Another poem ' Sairandhri ' upon Mahabharata character. Vinod joshi's recent publications 'Sairadhri' poem composed in prabhandh form with seven on Dropadi character of Mahabharata.

'Dropadi':-

In poem Dropadi is became Sairandhri this is poem only according to Vinod joshi's  imaginary character of Dropadi or Sairandhri .

The poem published in 2018. This metrical poem composed in prabhandh form with seven cantos,49 chapters and 1800 lines. It is based on Draupadi, one of the characters of Hindu Epic "Mahabharata". Here poet tried to explain Draupadi's feeling and thoughts. As a part of languages I can find that poet used figurative language, personification, meters, Chopai and Dohra in 'Sairadhri'.

Here poet used Shrigar Rasa also. Moreover I added that language always applied and each language has own valuations . In 'Sairadhri' main points are:-

1 Identity:-

In this poem 'Sairadhri' is main character. 'Sairadhri' is a 'Dropadi'. 'Dropadi' became 'Sairadhri' her real Identity lost and live hidden. 'Dropadi' come in royal family so very hard live in hidden. Because in her family she live Padava and Krishna  both supporting with, And became 'Sairadhri' she is alone live in her Kingdom so very difficult live luxurious to convert simple life.

All human beings live with both Identity Frist inner Identity or outside Identity here 'Sairadhri' in see inner Identity or 'Dropadi' in see outside Identity. So here she free from everything there choose.

2. Marriage or love:-

Not Mahabharata in 'Dropadi' love with 'Karan' and decide marriage with 'Karan' , 'Dropadi' marriage only 'Arjuna' but in this poem Vinod joshi's own imagination he write 'Sairadhri' choose 'Karan' for marriage not 'Arjuna'.

3. Women own self:-

Here poet tell 'Sairadhri' live without man support. She prove that she live without man support so that why Vinod joshi's write poem may be two reason's Frist all human beings in two Identity real Identity always try to hide and imagery Identity with live all human beings. And second reason is women live without support of any human being. Poet say woman should feel proud on self.
